I’m Edoardo Salmaso, originally from Italy and currently based in the United States. I’m a Mental Performance Coach and future LPC-C, working with athletes across sports to develop the psychological skills needed to perform under pressure while maintaining long-term mental well-being.
I have a background in Psychology and Sport Science, and I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My training combines clinical foundations with applied sport psychology, allowing me to support both performance-related challenges and broader mental health concerns such as anxiety, confidence, emotional regulation, burnout, and identity in sport.
I’ve worked with youth, collegiate, and professional athletes across multiple sports, including motocross, soccer, volleyball, softball, and basketball. I’ve served as a collegiate soccer captain, strength and conditioning coach, and graduate assistant for a men’s soccer program, and I’ve collaborated with professional clubs in Italy, including Calcio Padova, working alongside sport psychologists in academy and camp settings.
I’m the founder of MindOverMoto, a mental performance project created to normalize mental health in sport and provide athletes with practical tools to improve confidence, focus, resilience, and emotional regulation. Through this work, I support athletes internationally, both in person and online.
I speak Italian, Spanish, and English.
