Zhanna Bikkina is Stanford fencing's assistant coach for men's and women's epee, entering her first season with the Cardinal in 2024. She brings more than two decades of fencing experience and a coaching background that includes work with high-level junior and national competitors.
Before Stanford, Bikkina coached at the Academy of Fencing Masters in Sunnyvale, where her athletes earned more than 30 national medals across youth through Division I events. She helped guide Leehi Machulsky to the world No. 1 junior women's epee ranking in 2023-24 and a bronze medal at the 2024 World Championships, while AFM's women's epee team also earned Junior Olympic and USA Fencing national bronze medals in 2022.
