Zach Wynne
Assistant Coach
Zach Wynne was promoted to Assistant Coach and Offensive Coordinator of the Florida Tech men’s lacrosse team in July 2021 after serving as a volunteer assistant coach during the 2019-20 and 2020-21 seasons. Entering his sixth season with the Panthers in 2026, Wynne has been instrumental in elevating the program’s offensive performance and overall competitiveness in the Sunshine State Conference. During the 2023 and 2024 campaigns, Florida Tech compiled a 13-16 overall record, highlighted by significant individual achievements, including Tech’s first-ever SSC Freshman of the Year award and multiple All-Conference and All-American honors for standout players. Under his coordination, the Panthers earned a three seed in the SSC Tournament and saw several players recognized with All-Region and national accolades.
Before joining the coaching staff, Wynne was a standout player for Florida Tech, where he quarterbacked the Panther offense during the 2015 season, earning All-SSC Second Team honors after setting the program’s single-season points record with 54 points. His early experience includes coaching and training roles internationally with QuickStix Lacrosse in Melbourne, Australia, and playing professionally for the Williamstown Pro Lacrosse Team in 2018. Wynne is also co-owner of Big Wave Lacrosse, a youth development program on the Space Coast, and has coached at various youth and high school levels. A 2016 graduate of Florida Tech with a bachelor’s degree in communications, Wynne has contributed to recruiting, player development, and community engagement activities throughout his tenure with the Panthers.
