Zach Wittes has served as assistant coach for the goalkeepers on the George Washington women's lacrosse staff in Washington, D.C., since 2025. A Georgia native, he was an original player for Thunder Lacrosse and earned four varsity letters in high school before moving into coaching at Wheeler High School in Marietta, Georgia.
Wittes earned a bachelor's degree in sport and entertainment management from the University of South Carolina and is pursuing a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling at the University of Kentucky, with an emphasis on adolescents, young adults, and mindfulness-based support. His background also includes work in experiential marketing, partnerships, and community engagement, along with volunteer mentoring and academic support through the Boys & Girls Club.
