Zach Spiker is the head men's basketball coach at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and he entered his 10th season leading the program after being hired on March 25, 2016. Under Spiker, Drexel has posted five consecutive winning seasons, the program's longest such run since the late 1990s, and he has kept the Dragons competitive in the Coastal Athletic Association through a period of major change across college athletics.
Spiker was named Drexel's 26th head coach and only the sixth since the university moved to Division I. His teams have produced numerous all-conference performers, including 14 All-CAA selections and multiple all-rookie honorees. Among the most notable players of his tenure are Camren Wynter, the conference's Rookie of the Year, and Amari Williams, who became the first player in CAA history to win Defensive Player of the Year three straight times. Spiker was recognized as the 2023-24 Philadelphia Big 5 Coach of the Year.
