Zach Lefever is an assistant coach for Towson University's women's track and field and cross country programs in Towson, Maryland, having joined the staff as distance assistant coach in July 2026.
Before arriving at Towson, Lefever spent two seasons at La Salle University as an assistant coach, where he contributed to the development and recruitment of seven NCAA qualifiers, 17 all-conference performers, and five school record holders. Earlier in his coaching career, he worked at Binghamton University, Westfield State University, and the University of Massachusetts. At Binghamton, he coached America East champions in the women's distance medley relay, 4x400-meter relay, and steeplechase, along with the men's 5,000 meters. At Westfield State in 2023, he assisted the men's and women's cross country teams as they won MASCAC championships. At Massachusetts, he was part of staffs for the 2022 men's cross country team and the 2022-23 women's indoor track and field team, both of which won NEICAAA titles.
