Will Saxon serves as Assistant Coach for Oral Roberts University's Men's Basketball program in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Saxon is entering his first season as an Assistant Coach at ORU. Saxon has spent the last four seasons in Las Vegas, Nevada, with the UNLV men's basketball program.
Originally hired as the program's recruiting and video coordinator, Saxon was elevated to assistant coach in 2023. During his tenure, UNLV has improved its win total each season—from 18 wins in 2021–22 to 21 this past season, the program's highest mark since 2013–14. The Runnin' Rebels also made their first postseason appearance since 2012–13 and notched their first postseason win since 2007–08. The team advanced to the quarterfinals of the National Invitation Tournament (NIT), defeating Princeton on the road and Boston College at home before falling to eventual champion Seton Hall.
