Warren Russ serves as Assistant Coach for University of Oklahoma's Soccer program in Norman, Oklahoma. Oklahoma head soccer coach Matt Mott announced July 2023 the addition of Warren Russ as assistant coach. Russ finished his third season on the OU staff following the fall of 2025.
The Sooners reached double-digit wins for the second time in as many seasons, going 10-5-4 to qualify for the program's first-ever SEC Tournament. The Sooners blanked five teams, including No. 4 Tennessee, garnering 12 points in league play. Keeper Caroline Duffy put up one of the best seasons by a goalkeeper in program history, logging 58 saves to earn Third Team All-SEC honors as well as a pair of SEC Defensive Player of the Week laurels. The Sooners went 10-7-1 in 2024, breaking the double-digit win total for the first time since the 2016 campaign.
