Walker Larson
Pitching Coach
Walker Larson returns for his 10th season as the pitching coach for the Ramapo College baseball program, continuing to develop one of the top pitching staffs in the NJAC and NCAA Division III. Under his guidance, the Roadrunners have achieved significant success, including multiple NJAC Tournament appearances, a 2024 NJAC Championship, and consecutive NCAA Tournament berths. In 2025, Ramapo finished 28–16 overall and earned an NCAA at-large bid. Larson has overseen standout pitching performances throughout his tenure, including staff ERAs ranked among the national leaders and dominant individual seasons such as the 2019 NJAC Pitcher of the Year campaign by Kevin Stewart. In 2018, the Roadrunners posted the 10th-best ERA in Division III (3.12) and advanced to the NCAA Tournament after a 35-win season.
A Ramapo College Athletic Hall of Fame inductee, Larson was a four-year standout pitcher for the Roadrunners from 2012–15. He helped lead the program to three NCAA Tournament appearances, a 2015 NCAA New England Regional Championship, and a berth in the NCAA Division III World Series. A two-time NJAC Pitcher of the Year — the only player in program history to earn the honor twice — he was also named ABCA Mid-Atlantic Pitcher of the Year and a Third Team All-American. Larson finished his collegiate career with a 2.85 ERA, 190 strikeouts, and 19 wins. He currently teaches mathematics at Mahwah High School and resides in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
