Wabissa Bede is an assistant coach for the University of Maryland men's basketball program in College Park, Maryland, entering his first full season in that position while continuing into his fifth year on head coach Buzz Williams' staff.
Bede arrived at Maryland after four seasons working with Williams at Texas A&M, where he served as a program aide and supported multiple areas of the operation, including recruiting organization, student-athlete development, advanced analytics, and camps. His connection with Williams dates to Virginia Tech, where Williams recruited him and coached him during Bede's first two collegiate seasons.
