Victoria Fallgren-Murphy has been an integral part of the Gonzaga University women’s golf program for over a decade, serving as an assistant coach at her alma mater. In her role, she supports day-to-day coaching operations and leads recruiting efforts, contributing to the program’s sustained rise as a competitive force in the West Coast Conference. Since transitioning from player to coach, Fallgren-Murphy has helped guide Gonzaga to multiple NCAA postseason appearances and played a key role in developing high-level talent, including the program’s first NCAA Championship participant. Her tenure has coincided with significant milestones, including national rankings and continued improvement in team scoring performance.
Before entering coaching, Fallgren-Murphy was one of the most accomplished golfers in Gonzaga history. She became the program’s first West Coast Conference individual champion in 2012 and earned multiple All-WCC honors during her collegiate career. She also enjoyed success in amateur competition, qualifying for several USGA events and earning multiple Washington State Mid-Amateur titles. Her deep connection to Gonzaga, both as a standout student-athlete and as a coach, has made her a key figure in the program’s development and culture. Fallgren-Murphy holds both a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree from Gonzaga, further underscoring her long-standing commitment to the university.
