Van Williams is the Lyons Family Men's Golf Associate Head Coach at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, arriving after three seasons as head coach at Wofford.
At Wofford, Williams led the Terriers to two team championships and coached four individual title winners. His players also earned four Southern Conference all-conference honors and two SoCon All-Freshman selections, while nine were recognized on the Southern Conference Spring Academic All-Conference Team from 2021 through 2024. Across his career, he has accumulated 21 years of coaching experience, including 11 years as a Division I head coach or assistant coach.
