Vanessa Blair-Lewis is the head coach of the George Mason women's basketball program in Fairfax, Virginia, and is entering her fifth season with the Patriots in 2025-26. The 2025-26 campaign is also her 27th season as a collegiate head coach.
George Mason has made major strides under Blair-Lewis. After inheriting a team that finished 3-22 and went winless in Atlantic 10 play in 2020-21, she led the program to its first Atlantic 10 Championship and first NCAA Tournament appearance in 2024-25. That season, the Patriots set a school record with 27 victories, opened 11-1, posted a second straight 20-win season, and reached a program-best NET ranking of No. 40. Blair-Lewis was recognized as a Her Hoop Stats Mid-Major Coach of the Year finalist for the second year in a row and was named VaSID Coach of the Year for 2024-25.
