Tyson Balleza
Assistant Coach
Tyson Balleza serves as an assistant coach for the University of Alabama in Huntsville men’s soccer program, supporting the Chargers’ competition in the Gulf South Conference. As a member of head coach John Carrier’s staff, Balleza contributes to daily training sessions, match preparation, and recruiting efforts. His responsibilities include working with players on technical development, tactical organization, and overall game readiness. Through detailed scouting and structured practice planning, he helps ensure the team is prepared for both conference and non-conference opponents.
Balleza brings a strong understanding of the collegiate game and a commitment to mentoring student-athletes. His coaching philosophy emphasizes discipline, teamwork, and continuous improvement while fostering a positive and competitive team culture. By collaborating closely with the rest of the coaching staff, Balleza plays an integral role in reinforcing program standards and supporting the academic and athletic growth of UAH’s student-athletes. Based in Huntsville, Alabama, he continues to help strengthen the foundation and future success of the Chargers’ men’s soccer program.
