Ty Megahee
Assistant Coach/Recruiting Coordinator
Ty Megahee is a veteran NCAA Division I coach, currently serving as an Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator for Florida State University’s baseball program. In his time at FSU, he has contributed to back-to-back NCAA Super Regional appearances (2024–25), and helped the program reach the College World Series in 2024. Before joining FSU, Megahee held roles at several college programs. His coaching résumé includes five seasons at Pitt, stints at Western Kentucky, Mercer (his alma mater), Auburn, and Monmouth. Over his career, he has recruited players from 36 states, coached numerous MLB draft picks (including Golden Spikes Award winner Kyle Lewis), and been recruited as a strong roster-builder and evaluator of talent.
