Tyler Shewmaker begins his first season as the recruiting coordinator/catching coach at South Carolina. He comes to Columbia after spending the past two seasons at Coastal Carolina as the director of player development and recruiting. Shewmaker helped the Chants to a 2025 Men’s College World Series runner-up finish in his two seasons in Conway.
