Tyler Kwinta
Head Coach
Tyler Kwinta was promoted in the summer of 2025 to become the first full-time head coach of both the men’s and women’s volleyball programs at Ramapo College, marking a historic appointment for the department. He is the 17th head coach in women’s program history and the seventh for the men’s program. Kwinta assumed leadership of the women’s team in August 2024 following the program’s first-ever NJAC Women’s Volleyball Championship in 2023. The 2024 campaign served as a rebuilding year, highlighted by a senior day victory over Centenary University. Prior to Ramapo, Kwinta gained Division I experience as an assistant coach at the University of Connecticut during the 2023 season. He also serves as head coach of the Warren Sixpack Volleyball Club, contributing to athlete development at the club level.
The 2026 season will mark Kwinta’s first year leading the men’s program, which reached the Skyline Conference Semifinals and recorded 19 wins in 2025. A former four-year student-athlete at Sacred Heart University (2020–23), Kwinta served as team captain and earned EIVA All-Academic Team honors. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Marketing, bringing both leadership and high-level playing experience to Ramapo’s volleyball programs.
