Ty Arlesic has served as assistant director of scouting for West Virginia football in Morgantown, West Virginia, since 2025. He works in scouting and recruiting, supports on-campus recruiting efforts, and helps oversee the scouting department's student assistant program. His responsibilities also include maintaining the portal best-available board during the season, organizing transfer portal prospects, and evaluating both the WVU roster and other Big 12 rosters to assess team strengths and weaknesses. On game days, he handles replay tablets and assists coaches in the press box.
Before joining West Virginia, Arlesic spent three years at Jacksonville State, including one season as a recruiting assistant and two years as a graduate assistant in recruiting. A native of Steubenville, Ohio, he earned a business administration degree from Youngstown State in 2022 and a master's in sports management from Jacksonville State in 2023.
