Trey Wilkes is the associate head coach for the University of Delaware men's lacrosse program in Newark, Delaware, a position he assumed in June 2025 after serving as a volunteer assistant beginning in fall 2017 and as an assistant coach starting in June 2021.
A native of Ijamsville, Maryland, Wilkes works with Delaware's defensive unit and faceoff specialists. Since joining head coach Ben DeLuca's staff, he has been part of a stretch that includes two regular-season conference titles and two conference tournament championships. Over his tenure, Delaware has produced 46 all-conference selections, seven major conference award winners, and 10 USILA All-Americans. The Blue Hens also posted national top-20 scoring defense rankings in six of his first eight seasons on staff, including four top-10 finishes and two top-five finishes, while leading the conference four times. In 2025, Delaware ranked second nationally in faceoff winning percentage at .643 and finished first in the CAA in that category.
