Trevor Wikre

Trevor Wikre joined the coaching staff at Colorado Mesa University (CMU) in the spring of 2022 as co-offensive coordinator and offensive line coach, and his title on the 2025 staff directory is Assistant Head Football Coach — Offensive Coordinator / Offensive Line. Originally from Longmont, Colorado, Wikre attended Berthoud High School where he was an All-State lineman and also lettered in wrestling and baseball. He then played at Colorado Mesa (then Mesa State) as both a defensive tackle (his first two years) and an offensive guard (final two), earning all-conference honors as a junior and senior, and All-American honors in his senior year. Wikre began his coaching career in 2009 at Colorado State University as a quality-control defensive assistant and later a graduate assistant. He then coached offensive lines at Adams State, University of Northern Colorado, and Linfield University (where his unit helped the team to an undefeated regular season and NCAA Division III quarterfinals) before arriving at CMU. In joining CMU’s football program, Wikre brings a combination of positional expertise (offensive line), coordinator experience, and institutional continuity (as an alumnus) to support Head Coach Miles Kochevar in the program’s development.
