Trevor DeLaite is an assistant coach for University of Maine baseball in Orono, Maine, joining the staff for the 2026 season. He is set to serve as the program's director of pitching development, with responsibilities that include individualized pitching plans, practice and training organization, analytics, and opponent scouting.
Before returning to Maine, DeLaite spent two seasons running DeLaite Pitching Development, where he worked with youth, high school, and college pitchers. He also coached the Bangor Babes of the GNCBL in the summers of 2024 and 2025, leading the club to the 2024 league championship, earning Coach of the Year honors, and guiding the team back to the championship round in 2025. Earlier in his coaching career, he was Liberty University's director of pitching development in 2022 and 2023, a period that included an NCAA regional at-large berth for the Flames in 2022.
