Trent Kauffman is an assistant coach for the Fordham football program in Bronx, New York, joining the staff as defensive quality control coach in February 2025.
Kauffman arrived at Fordham after spending the 2024 season at Wake Forest, where he worked as recruiting, player personnel, and defensive line/special teams assistant. His duties included preparing weekly special teams scouting reports for the special teams coach and head coach, contributing to punt pressure and return planning, overseeing special teams film identification and tagging, and leading defensive end drills during individual periods.
