Tracy Joyner became the head coach of the University of Oregon women’s soccer program in December 2024, bringing a proven track record of program building and sustained success across multiple collegiate levels. A former All-Pac-10 defender at California, Joyner has compiled over 130 career wins as a head coach, including successful tenures at UC Davis, San Francisco State, and Santa Rosa Junior College. In her first season at Oregon in 2025, she implemented a strong defensive identity, leading the Ducks to one of the top defensive performances in program history while competing in the Big Ten Conference.
Prior to Oregon, Joyner elevated UC Davis into a contender in the Big West Conference, culminating in a record-setting 13-win season in 2024 and earning Big West Coach of the Year honors in 2023. Her teams consistently improved year-over-year and produced conference award winners and all-conference performers. Joyner also boasts international-level coaching credentials, holding a prestigious UEFA “A” License, and has experience as both a professional player and coach. Known for her leadership and player development, she continues to shape Oregon soccer with a focus on competitiveness, resilience, and long-term growth.
