Tony Valentino is the assistant offensive line coach for the University of Massachusetts Amherst football program in Amherst, Massachusetts. He joined the Minutemen staff in August 2025 as a defensive graduate assistant and moved into his current position for the 2026 season.
Before arriving at UMass, Valentino spent the 2024 season at Akron as an offensive assistant and offensive line analyst, where he handled opponent film breakdown and supported drill and meeting preparation. He previously worked at Springfield College as an offensive graduate assistant with a primary focus on the offensive line, overseeing position meetings and drills while contributing to a unit that produced multiple all-conference, all-region, all-New England, and All-American selections. Springfield also earned NCAA Division III Team of the Week recognition and led the nation in rushing in 2023 after ranking second in 2022, and Valentino was part of NEWMAC Coaching Staff of the Year honors in both seasons.
