Tom Pecora is the head coach of the Quinnipiac University men's basketball team in Hamden, Connecticut, and will enter his fourth season in that position in 2026-27. He was appointed Quinnipiac's head coach on April 13, 2023, after previously serving on the Bobcats' staff from 2017 to 2023 as associate head coach. By the end of his first three seasons as head coach, Quinnipiac had posted a 63-36 overall record under his direction.
Pecora led Quinnipiac to consecutive Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference regular-season championships in 2023-24 and 2024-25 and was named MAAC Coach of the Year in both seasons. In his first year as head coach, the Bobcats finished 24-10 overall and 15-5 in conference play, earning the top seed in the league tournament and securing the program's first MAAC regular-season title. That team set a school record for victories in a season and also established a program high for total points scored. Quinnipiac opened the year 19-4, put together a 10-game winning streak from early January into early February, and recorded a 7-0 January, the program's first unbeaten month in Division I competition. Matt Balanc was named MAAC Player of the Year, with Balanc, Savion Lewis, and Amarri Tice all receiving all-conference recognition.
