Tommy McMenemy is the head coach of the University of Delaware men's soccer program in Newark, Delaware, a position he has held since his appointment on November 30, 2021.
By his fourth season, McMenemy had led Delaware through one of the strongest years in program history. In 2025, the Blue Hens went 12-2-3 in the program's 100th season and their first year in The Summit League, reached the conference semifinals, and finished with the fewest losses in school history for a team that played at least 15 matches. Delaware opened 7-0, went unbeaten through its first 10 matches at 9-0-1, and completed the season without a home loss at 8-0. The team set 16 program records, ranked first nationally in scoring offense and points per game, stood second in goal differential, climbed as high as No. 24 in TopDrawerSoccer's national poll, and received votes in three United Soccer Coaches polls. Delaware also led The Summit League in 17 team statistical categories and 15 individual categories. Rich Monath was named The Summit League Midfielder of the Year, and the Blue Hens produced seven All-Summit League selections, four All-ECAC honorees, and six CSC Academic All-District picks.
