Tomekia Reed serves as Head Coach for University of North Carolina at Charlotte's Women's Basketball program in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Tomekia Reed was named the ninth head women’s basketball coach for the Charlotte 49ers in April of 2024. Reed just finished her second season at the helm of Charlotte Women’s Basketball, doubling her conference wins from year one to year two and coaching two players named to the American Conference Postseason teams. Under Reed’s guidance, Charlotte ranked fifth in the NCAA averaging 17 offensive rebounds and led the conference with a +7.44 rebounding margin in league play.
