Todd Michael is the head diving coach for Villanova swimming and diving in Villanova, Pennsylvania, and enters his 12th season with the program in 2026-27. During his tenure, he has earned seven BIG EAST Diving Coach of the Year awards, taking the honor with the women's team in 2017 and 2026 and with the men's team in each season from 2018 through 2022.
Michael has coached five Villanova divers to eight BIG EAST Most Outstanding Diver awards. Michael Perra won the men's award three straight times from 2018 to 2020, Michael Ackert followed with honors in 2021 and 2022, Nick Jubilee shared Diver of the Meet recognition in 2024, Birdie Dunn earned the women's award in 2019, and Michelle Kasulka did so in 2026. His divers have also produced multiple conference event titles, including repeated sweeps of the 1-meter and 3-meter competitions by Perra, Dunn and Ackert. Perra finished his Villanova career as a six-time BIG EAST gold medalist, while Ackert added back-to-back standout conference performances and Jubilee won the 1-meter title in 2024. In 2026, Kasulka was named Women's Most Outstanding Diver after winning the 3-meter event and placing fourth in the 1-meter.
