T.J. Hollowell is the assistant coach for defensive ends at Wake Forest University's football program in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, joining the Demon Deacons before the 2025 season.
Hollowell arrived at Wake Forest after serving as Nebraska's recruiting coordinator in 2024, when the Cornhuskers signed Rivals' No. 17 recruiting class, the program's highest-rated class since 2020. Before returning to Nebraska, he spent four seasons at Michigan State from 2020 through 2023 as a defensive analyst alongside Wake Forest defensive coordinator Scott Hazelton. Michigan State's 2021 team completed an 11-2 season, won the Peach Bowl against Pitt, and finished in the national top 10 in both major polls. Across Hollowell's time in East Lansing, Michigan State produced multiple All-Big Ten defenders, including Cal Haladay, Jacub Panasiuk, Shakur Brown, Antjuan Simmons, and others, while several players moved on to NFL opportunities.
