Tim Ritchie is the head coach of men's cross country at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in Amherst, Massachusetts, a position he has held since April 18, 2018.
Ritchie led UMass to one of the program's standout recent seasons in 2024, when the Minutemen won the Atlantic 10 championship for the third time and their first since 2008 in the team's final year in the conference. He was named Atlantic 10 Coach of the Year after UMass scored 36 points and placed all five scorers in the top 15, with each earning All-Atlantic 10 recognition. Bobby Carew later finished 17th at the NCAA Northeast Regional Championships and received USTFCCCA All-Region honors as UMass recorded its best regional finish since 2008. Four runners, Carew, Collin Catherwood, Michael Norberg and Liam Ouellette, were also selected to the Atlantic 10 All-Academic Men's Cross Country Team.
