Timothy Lynch
Assistant Coach
Timothy Lynch serves as an assistant coach and the head diving coach for the NJIT men’s swimming and diving program. In his role, Lynch is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Highlanders’ diving program, including technical instruction, training progression, and meet preparation. He works closely with the rest of the swimming and diving coaching staff to support overall program goals while focusing specifically on the development and performance of NJIT’s divers.
As NJIT’s head diving coach, Lynch contributes to athlete development within a Division I environment, emphasizing skill refinement, consistency, and competitive execution. His position reflects NJIT’s commitment to maintaining a specialized coaching structure that supports both swimming and diving disciplines. Lynch plays a key role in day-to-day training operations and helps prepare student-athletes for conference and postseason competition while reinforcing the program’s standards of academic and athletic excellence.
