Tim McGowan is an assistant coach for the Boston College men's cross country and track and field program in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, and entered his first season on the staff with responsibilities that include cross country, distance, and recruiting coordination.
Before joining Boston College, McGowan competed with the Boston Athletic Association high performance team and served as an assistant coach for the Hofstra men's and women's cross country and track and field teams in 2019-20. He also worked as a volunteer assistant coach at Penn State during the 2018-19 indoor and outdoor track seasons.
