App State Men’s Basketball head coach Dustin Kerns announced the hiring of Tim Johnson to his coaching staff on May 21, 2025. He is now in his second season as an assistant coach at App State. In his first season with App State, Johnson helped lead the Mountaineers to their seventh consecutive season with a winning percentage above .500, marking the first time they have done that since 1945-52.
