Timber Oakes
Assistant Coach
Timber Oakes serves as an assistant coach for the Drew University softball program, supporting the Rangers’ continued success in the Landmark Conference. In her role, Oakes assists with practice planning, defensive and offensive skill development, scouting, and game preparation. She works closely with the head coach and student-athletes to reinforce a culture centered on accountability, competitive drive, and academic excellence, contributing to one of the most successful stretches in program history.
As part of the coaching staff, Oakes plays an active role in mentoring players both on and off the field, helping them refine their technical skills and situational awareness while adjusting to the demands of collegiate softball. She supports recruiting efforts and fosters team cohesion, ensuring that Drew’s student-athletes are prepared to compete at a high level within Division III. Through her involvement, Oakes contributes to sustaining the Rangers’ momentum, including consistent 20-win seasons and strong conference performances.
