Thomas Francy
Assistant Coach
Thomas Francy is an assistant coach and the offensive coordinator for the Stevens Institute of Technology men’s lacrosse team, having earned his promotion to that role in 2025 after two strong seasons with the program. Known for his energetic coaching style and ability to connect with athletes, Francy has quickly become a key contributor to the team’s culture and on-field performance. In his role as offensive coordinator, he oversees the Ducks’ attacking strategy, helping players refine their skills and execute a dynamic, fast-paced offense that complements the team’s competitive aspirations under the leadership of head coach Gene Peluso.
Before transitioning into coaching, Francy had a notable collegiate playing career as a goalie at Kean University, where he was recognized as a USILA All-American Honorable Mention for his performance in 2021. His playing experience at the collegiate level gave him valuable insights into the game, which he now applies in coaching offensive tactics despite his background in goal. Francy’s impact at Stevens extends beyond strategy — his enthusiasm and commitment to team development have earned him respect from both players and fellow coaches since he joined the staff in 2022.
