Terry Weir is the head coach of George Washington University's men's and women's track and field and cross country programs in Washington, District of Columbia, and he is entering his 25th season in collegiate coaching and his 15th season at GW.
Weir arrived at George Washington in 2012 and later oversaw the launch of the school's men's and women's track and field programs in 2015. Since then, he has led the Revolutionaries to the most sustained success in program history, turning the cross country teams into regular Atlantic 10 contenders while expanding the program beyond its distance-running base. His teams have combined strong academic results with conference-level success, and his athletes have competed for league titles, set school and championship records, and advanced to NCAA competition.
