Ted Everett
Head Diving Coach
Ted Everett is the Head Diving Coach at Princeton University, joining the Tigers in June 2022 and bringing decades of collegiate and club-level experience to one of the Ivy League’s most competitive aquatic programs. Since his arrival, Everett has made an immediate impact, helping guide Princeton’s women to Ivy League Championships and Dual Meet Championships while also leading the men to a Dual Meet title. His divers have consistently performed at the conference and national levels, with multiple athletes earning High Point Diver of the Meet honors at the Ivy League Championships and advancing to NCAA Zone and NCAA Championships. Under Everett’s direction, Princeton has sent numerous men and women to postseason competition, reflecting both technical excellence and depth across the diving roster.
Prior to Princeton, Everett spent three seasons at the University of Wyoming, where his success earned him Mountain West Conference Diving Coach of the Year honors in 2021 and Western Athletic Conference Diving Coach of the Year recognition in 2022. At Wyoming, his divers accumulated All-America honors, conference championships, Diver of the Week awards, and frequent NCAA Zone and NCAA Championship qualifications. Earlier in his career, Everett enjoyed a highly successful tenure at the University of Utah, where he was named Mountain West Diving Coach of the Year in 2000 and coached multiple NCAA All-Americans, Olympic Trials qualifiers, and conference finalists, including training Utah’s first diving All-American.
Beyond the collegiate ranks, Everett has contributed extensively to the sport through elite club programs, including Utah Diving Club, Rose Bowl Aquatics, and SLAP Diving, helping develop junior national qualifiers and Olympic-level athletes. Known for his technical expertise and athlete-centered approach, Everett continues to elevate Princeton diving through competitive results, academic balance, and long-term athlete development.
