Taylor Wike
Associate Head Coach
Taylor Wike joined the Duke University women’s softball program on July 1, 2023 as an assistant coach and was promoted to Associate Head Coach on July 10, 2024. In her role she serves as the team’s hitting and infield coach. In her first season with the Blue Devils she helped lead the squad to a program-record 52-9 mark, a second ACC Championship, a third straight NCAA Super Regional appearance and the program’s first ever Women’s College World Series berth. Under her guidance the offense posted a .322 batting average and averaged 6.52 runs per game, ranking eighth nationally.
Prior to joining Duke, Wike spent four seasons at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where she contributed to the program’s first ever Conference USA East Division title in 2021 and its first appearance in national polls in 2022. Before Charlotte, she served as a volunteer assistant coach at the University of South Carolina. As a collegiate player she was a standout at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, graduating in 2018 with a degree in Exercise and Sport Science. During her career with the Tar Heels she earned All-ACC honors every year, started 225 games, and was named ACC Defensive Player of the Year in 2018.
