Taylor Holmes

Taylor Holmes was announced as an assistant coach for the University of North Alabama volleyball program on April 15, 2025, joining head coach Tristan Johnson’s staff. Holmes brings extensive experience in player development and program operations at the Division I level. At UNA, she contributes to training, recruiting coordination, scouting preparation, and overall team development as the Lions continue building momentum within the ASUN Conference. Holmes arrived in Florence after a six-year tenure at Middle Tennessee, where she served as an assistant coach from 2019 through the 2024 season. During her time with the Blue Raiders, she was responsible for setter and middle blocker development, offensive systems, and contributed to passing and defensive training. She also played an integral role in recruiting, scouting, team operations, and social media management. Prior to her full-time role, Holmes served as a student manager from 2014–18 and as a graduate assistant in 2018. She earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Business Administration from Middle Tennessee, combining her academic background with hands-on coaching experience to support athlete growth on and off the court.
