Taylor Farace is an assistant coach for Sacred Heart women’s lacrosse in Fairfield, Connecticut, beginning her first season on the staff in 2026-27. She returns to the program after a four-year playing career with the Pioneers from 2023 to 2026, during which she served as a team captain and developed into one of the team’s most versatile midfielders. Farace appeared in 67 games and made 35 starts during her college career. She finished with 28 goals and 14 assists for 42 points while also contributing 52 ground balls, 32 caused turnovers, and 23 draw controls. Her most productive offensive season came in 2025, when she posted career highs with 11 goals, six assists, and 17 points and recorded six multi-point performances.
She was also part of one of the strongest stretches in program history, helping Sacred Heart win back-to-back NEC regular-season championships in 2023 and 2024, capture the 2023 NEC tournament title, and earn a place in the 2023 NCAA Tournament. After the program moved to the MAAC, she also helped the Pioneers reach the conference tournament in 2025. Off the field, Farace graduated magna cum laude with a 3.76 GPA as a finance and marketing major in Sacred Heart’s Jack Welch College of Business and Technology and earned Dean’s List recognition throughout her academic career. Her coaching experience includes work with Nor’Easter Lacrosse, where she has served as Shoreline director and marketing manager, overseeing daily operations, scheduling, coach recruitment, outreach, and club marketing. She has also worked directly as a coach, organizing training sessions and game strategy while helping promote players and programs through digital and community engagement.
