Tasia Ford is the associate head coach for Temple University fencing in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and serves as the program's sabre coach. A former Temple student-athlete and alumna, she is in her sixth season coaching the Owls' sabre squad after returning to her alma mater from Delaware Valley Fencers Club.
Ford has contributed to sustained success for Temple, including six NIWFA team championships that extended the program's conference title streak to 30 in a row. In the most recent season, her squad posted a 23-14 record, with Alex Papapetropoulou placing fourth in the Mid-Atlantic South Regional and first-year fencer Keely Carter finishing second at the NIWFA Championships. In 2023-24, Temple's sabre group went 32-9, three wins short of the program record, and Lauren Johnson placed 15th at the NCAA Championships while earning USFCA Newcomer of the Year honors. During the 2020-21 season, six Temple fencers qualified for the NCAA Championships, including Eva Hinds, who finished eighth overall and received second-team All-America recognition. Ford has also been part of two 30-win seasons, a mark reached only three times in program history.
