A former standout golfer at Wichita State, Taryn Torgerson recently completed her third season as assistant coach for the UTSA women's golf program. In her first season with the Roadrunners, UTSA posted six top-five team finishes and advanced two individuals to the NCAA postseason for the first time in program history. Daniela Abonce became the sixth UTSA player to capture a conference title when she fired a 9-under-par 207 (66-72-69) to win the American Conference title.
