Susan Cassidy-Lyke is the head softball coach at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York, a position she assumed in July 2025 for the 2025-26 academic year.
Cassidy-Lyke arrived at Hofstra after a long tenure at Molloy University, where she served as head softball coach and director of athletics beginning in 2006. Over 20 seasons leading the softball program, she compiled a 570-448-1 record, the best winning percentage by a Molloy softball coach at .560. Her teams reached the NCAA Division II National Championship Tournament three times, winning East Regional titles in 2010, 2013, and 2017. Molloy also made 14 East Coast Conference Tournament appearances under her direction, winning four conference championships, and advanced to eight NCAA Regional Tournaments.
