Summer Hemphill is an assistant coach for the University at Buffalo women's basketball program in Buffalo, New York, and is in her second season after joining head coach Kristen Sharkey's staff in April 2025.
Hemphill returned to Buffalo after three seasons at Daemen University, where the Wildcats won East Coast Conference regular-season and tournament titles in 2023, 2024, and 2025 and reached the NCAA Tournament each year. That run included an NCAA Tournament East Region championship in 2024.
