Summer Cramer
Assistant Coach
Summer Cramer is an assistant coach for the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) women’s basketball program, joining the Chargers’ coaching staff ahead of the 2025-26 season under head coach Allen Sharpe. She was officially announced in this role in June 2025, bringing experience from her previous position as an assistant coach at Reinhardt University, where she helped guide the women’s team to an impressive 49-12 record over two seasons. At UAH, Cramer supports player development, on-court coaching, and strategy as the Chargers build on one of their most successful seasons in recent history.
Cramer’s journey in basketball began as a collegiate athlete. She played at the University of the Cumberlands during the 2018-19 season before transferring to Trinity Christian College, where she competed from 2019-22. While at Trinity Christian, she showcased her versatility by also participating in softball and golf, and she earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting with a minor in coaching in 2022. Cramer furthered her education by completing an MBA at Reinhardt University in 2023. Her background as a multi-sport collegiate athlete and her coaching experience contribute to her well-rounded approach to mentoring student-athletes at UAH.
