Sudanwa Sitaram
Assistant Coach
Sudanwa Sitaram joined the Florida State men’s tennis staff as an assistant coach starting in 2023. Over his tenure so far, he has been recognized with honors such as the ITA Southeast Assistant Coach of the Year (2024 and 2025) and has coached top-ranked collegiate players, including involvement in developing both men’s and women’s #1 ranked college players. Prior to his role at FSU, Sitaram served as a volunteer assistant coach at the University of Texas men’s tennis program, helping the Longhorns to strong performances including a 26-4 record and a run to the NCAA semifinals. Before his collegiate coaching roles, he directed a junior development academy (Polo Tennis Club in Austin, Texas), where he oversaw and coached many players who went on to play in college and become All-Americans. As a player, Sitaram was a four-year letterman at Texas (2011–14), served as team captain, earned All-Big 12 honors, and competed at the junior/ATP level (including playing in all four junior Grand Slams).
