Stevo Bednarsky
Volunteer Assistant Coach
Stevo Bednarsky serves as a volunteer assistant coach with the men’s soccer program at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey, returning to the sidelines for his second season on Head Coach Dale Jordan’s staff in 2025. In this role, he contributes to coaching duties such as training support, player development, and match preparation for the Ducks, who compete in the NCAA Division III Men’s Soccer Middle Atlantic Conference. Bednarsky has already been recognized as part of the Stevens coaching staff that earned the MAC Freedom Staff of the Year honor, reflecting the team’s success and his contributions to the program’s performance on and off the field.
Before joining the Ducks’ coaching staff, Bednarsky had an extensive playing career. He played collegiate soccer at Lehigh University, where he was a key starter and leader for the Mountain Hawks, earning multiple All-Patriot League honors and serving as a team captain. After college, he progressed to the professional ranks, signing with New York City FC II in MLS Next Pro and later appearing for FC Motown in competition such as the 2025 U.S. Open Cup. His background as a high-level player — from youth soccer and collegiate captaincy to professional experience — brings valuable insight and experience to his coaching role at Stevens.
