Steve Roccaforte is an assistant coach for the University of Maryland men's basketball program in College Park, Maryland, entering his first season at Maryland and his ninth season on head coach Buzz Williams' staff.
Roccaforte arrived at Maryland after four seasons at Texas A&M, where he reunited with Williams following three years as associate head coach at East Carolina. At Texas A&M, he was part of a staff that led the Aggies to three straight NCAA Tournament appearances, four consecutive 20-win seasons, and three SEC Tournament semifinal runs, including two trips to the championship game. Those NCAA Tournament streaks and four straight 20-win campaigns were each achieved only once before in program history.
