Steve Masiello is the associate head coach for St. John's University men's basketball in Queens, New York, a position he assumed in April 2023 after more than 20 years in Division I coaching.
Since joining the Red Storm staff, Masiello has been part of a highly successful run for the program. In his first three seasons at St. John's, the team posted an 81-25 record, won two outright BIG EAST regular-season championships and two BIG EAST Tournament titles, earned two NCAA Tournament appearances, and reached the Sweet 16 for the first time in 27 years. Over the most recent two seasons, St. John's went 36-4 in BIG EAST regular-season games.
