Steve Keasler serves as Special Assistant to the Head Coach for Oklahoma State University's Football program in Stillwater, Oklahoma. An experienced athletics administrator Steve Keasler was hired as Oklahoma State's special assistant to the head coach in December of 2025. Prior to that, he served as the North Texas Senior Associate AD for NIL and General Manager from 2024 and 2025.
Keasler worked to manage, organize, and advance NIL opportunities for all Mean Green student-athletes. A veteran of more than 30 years in college and high school athletics, Keasler went to UNT after spending the previous six years as the Executive Director of Athletics at Carroll ISD in Southlake, Texas. In his time with the Dragons, Keasler helped Southlake Carroll win the UIL 6A Lone Star Cup in 2019, 2023 and 2024 as the top athletic department in the state. In total, Carroll ISD won 17 UIL State Championships in his six years at the helm.
